The Friends of Gulick Park, with the help of the L.E.S. Ecology Center, Grand Opening and Henge Tables, have launched a campaign on Kickstarter to buy an outdoor ping pong table as part of an effort to restore Luther Gulick Park in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. The group needs to raise $4,200 by May 16, also known as "Take Back Our Park Day." The $4,200 will be used for the purchase and installation of the table. Any additional money raised will go toward maintenance of the table and the supply of paddles and balls.
